The reason why I started this site: The internet world was spreading worldwide, and also in Japan many people started using it.  I was thinking I wanted to do something on the internet.  I love music, and I want to do something to support my favorite artist and to talk about my favorite music.  Then "Eternal Melody" site was born.  I spent about 9 months for completing Doug Aldrich's fan site "Doug Aldrich In My Heart".  It's hard to make it both in Japanese and English, but it's fun and interesting for me.  I will keep doing this site as long as I can, so I hope you will enjoy here.  Thanks.

About music ...

I started learning the piano at around the age of 5. And I also learned the classical ballet. So I listened to the classical music much in my childhood. I started listening to the foreign music in my junior high school days, and I sang a song in my room with playing the record everyday.

At first I listened to the pop music like The Monkees, Sheena Easton, Arabesque and of course Japanese music. I was interested in the guitar in the 9th grade because I played the guitar in a music class at school, and my father bought me the classical guitar before I entered into the high school. I was interested in the rock music in my high school days, and I was attracted by the bands like Journey, Night Ranger, Survivor, Loverboy, and especially Bon Jovi.

I got the first electric guitar at the age of 19 and started taking a guitar lesson. I was attracted by the heavy metal and hard rock music then. I belonged to the light music club at the junior college, and played the keyboard and did a lead vocal on 1 song at the college festival. Then I played at the small contest with the band. The band had 6 members and I played the rhythm guitar. We played 1 original song and some cover songs. And then I took some drum lessons. I entered into the ESP Musical Academy in 1990 and majored in the electric guitar and music business. I learned how to play the guitar, the theory, and about music business there. George Lynch was the special instructor and some professional guitarists came to have a lecture for us, like Bruce Kulick, Jake E. Lee, etc. The most impressive guitarist for me was Dan Huff. He was great. I haven't played in a couple of years, but I hope to play again.
