back until late January of 2006. As our team

Doug is playing for Dio again!
Doug had finished the tour with Whitesnake
and was on the vacation & working for
Burning Rain, but suddenly was confirmed
to go on a tour with Dio from the show in
Holland on October 6. Dio's management
states that Dio's guitarist, Craig Goldy
hurt his arm in Russia and it became difficult
for him to continue to play on the tour.

LEG OF WORLD TOUR "VH1 Classics Presents:
Whitesnake The Rock & Roll, Rhythm &
Blues" Tour to coincide with July
release of Live DVD.
LOS ANGELES -- Legendary front man DAVID
COVERDALE is bringing WHITESNAKE back on
the road this summer with an entirely new
perspective of his 30-year multi-platinum
career. Presented by VH1 Classics,
Whitesnake The Rock & Roll, Rhythm &
Blues Show kicks off June 22 at the Paramount
Theatre in Seattle and is the most ambitious
Whitesnake endeavor in almost 20 years. Whitesnake
The Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues Show
will include two nights at House of Blues
in Los Angeles and more than 40 U.S. and
Canadian dates, in addition to stops in Mexico,
Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Venezuela before
winding up in Japan and Australia this November.
"I'm back with a mission,"
says Coverdale. "It's an appropriate
time to reintroduce good, uplifting, positive
rock 'n' roll." The launch of
this very special concert tour will be marked
by the release of a new live DVD, "Whitesnake
The Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues Show."
Both the DVD and limited edition companion
live CD were recorded in October at London's
famed Hammersmith Apollo. Fans can
get their first glimpse of this extraordinary
concert event when this special package is
released early July on Coming Home Studios/Universal.
From 1973 to 76 Coverdale was the lead singer
in Deep Purple, one of the biggest bands
in the world. A year after leaving,
he formed Whitesnake in late 1977 as a blues-based
rock band that set overseas attendance records
before introducing itself to America. "The
Snake" arrived on these shores in 1984
and conquered the New World instantly as
the band's U.S. debut album, Slide It In
("Love Ain't No Stranger," "Slow
& Easy"), became a Top 40, multi-platinum
hit. Whitesnake's 1987 self-titled follow-up
brought global superstardom, selling more
than 10 million copies in the U.S. alone
and fueled by the No. 1 and No. 2 smashes,
"Here I Go Again" and "Is
This Love". The band scored a trifecta
in 1989 with the top 10 multi-platinum selling
album, Slip of the Tongue, which Coverdale
regards as his "musically over
flamboyant chapter. We looked like an over
decorated Christmas tree. Somehow in all
the fuss we lost sight of our original blues
based roots." As the e90s arrived,
Coverdale collaborated with legendary Led
Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, resulting
in the critically acclaimed Coverdale/Page
album, which achieved platinum status in
the US. Whitesnake reconvened for a
sold-out world tour in 1997, after which
Coverdale effectively retired from the music
scene. To celebrate the 25th anniversary
of Whitesnake, Coverdale formed the current
chapter of the band and toured America on
the 2003 "Mmmm, Nice Package Tour,"
ending a 12-year absence from U.S. stages.
"I have a career that spans over three
decades now, so we'll be doing some early
Deep Purple stuff and some early Whitesnake
material which has never crossed the Atlantic,
as well as the more familiar hits."
says Coverdale." By embracing
his roots on the Whitesnake The Rock &
Roll, Rhythm & Blues Show, British-born
Coverdale is giving U.S. audiences the opportunity
to experience the ultimate Whitesnake line-up;
Doug Aldrich on guitar, Tommy Aldridge on
drums, Reb Beach on guitar, Uriah Duffy on
bass and Timothy Drury on keyboards. Whitesnake
The Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues Show
will deliver an explosive rock show.
"I can't stand being called heavy metal
and I have great difficulty with 'hair band'
references," says Coverdale. "We're
a hard rock, rhythm & blues band. I write
emotionally charged songs and sing powerfully.
The only comparison we have with metal is
that we're loud...VERY loud."

BAD MOON RISING Collection!
Bad Moon Rising's 3 albums will be re-released
from Frontiers Records.
Frontiers Records are delighted to be able
to announce that they have secured a triple
album deal with one of the most exciting
hard rock bands ever. We are talking about
the LA based group BAD MOON RISING.
The band released during the 90's three amazing
Hard Rock albums that highlighted the talents
of British singer Kal Swan and axeman Doug
Aldrich (currently guitarist for Whitesnake).
Both musicians were ex-LION, while bassist
Ian Mayo and drummer Jackie Ramos (who joined
after the first album was released) had played
together in both Hericane Alice and Bangalore
Choir. Prior to relocating from England to
Los Angeles, Swan was the frontman of the
NWOBHM band Tytan.
The self titled debut album, produced by
Mack (Queen) was released in 1991 and sees
such luminaries as former UFO guitar-god
Michael Schenker and Robin McAuley together
with ex-Quiet Riot and House Of Lords bassist
Chuck Wright and ex House of Lords and Alice
Cooper drummer Ken Mary. The record was never
released officially in Europe, even if it
immediately gathered the status of a cult
album.
1993 saw the release of the band's second
album 'Blood', the most mature and ass-kicking
hard rock effort, that is still today regarded
as one of the classic hard rock highlights
of the 90's. After Aldrich's debut solo album,
Bad Moon Rising released their last album
"Opium For The Masses" which came
out in different versions in Japan, France,
Korea, USA and rest Europe. Each of them
had its peculiar bonus tracks which are n
finally resumed on the Frontiers reissue.
The triple cd set entitled "The Full
