Doug will appear on Japanese TV!
Doug played for the Japanese TV with Mr. Masanori Sera at Fuji TV on October 1 after finishing Whitesnake's Japan tour.  Doug doesn't know the title of that TV program, so I'm not sure which one it is, but it may be "Takuro & Machami's Super hits which everyone can sing" on October 12.  It will be from 19:58 to 20:54.  And Marty Friedman will also appear with them on this program who played with Doug at Rock Legend show.  Please check it out.

Young Guitar magazine's October issue - Masanori Sera + Marty Friedman interview
In the interview of Masanori Sera and Marty Friedman of the Young Guitar magazine's October issue released on the 10th of this month, there is the article about Masanori Sera's self cover album called "Sho" and the artists on this album.  Doug plays on 4 songs, "Trigger", "Let's Get Rock'n Roll", "PA. Monsters of Rock are back on-the-road again. This second 9 date UK Tour in May features the mighty Whitesnake (with David Coverdale) and Gary Moore with a third band still to be announced.

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Whitesnake and 6 years since their last British Tour, Whitesnake, who are currently touring in the USA, return to the UK with an exciting new line-up, currently captivating the colonies, for the Monsters of Rock shows in May.  The band will feature the inimitable David Coverdale (Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Coverdale Page) on vocals, Doug Aldrich  (Dio, Lion, Burning Rain) and Reb Beach (Alice Cooper, Dokken, Winger) on Guitar and vocals, Timothy Drury (Eagles, Don Henly) on keyboards and vocals, Marco Mendoza (Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy) bass and vocals and on drums Tommy Aldridge (Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne, Thin Lizzy).  The band have both a Best of Whitesnake and a 25 Year Anniversary double album coming out soon through EMI Records.  They will be performing material from across their catalogue including 'Here I Go Again' ,'Walking In The Shadow Of The Blues'...'Still Of The Night'...'Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City'.  Members of the 'Whitesnake Choir' are respectfully requested to know ALL the words!!!

On the back of his recent Scars album Gary Moore returns to the UK to play a set of old and new material including Still Got The Blues (For You) from the 1990 album of the same name which sold over 3 million units worldwide.  Having graced the line-ups of Skid Row, Thin Lizzy and Colosseum II (to name but a few) over the years, Moore last year formed power trio Scars with ex-Skunk Anansie bassist Cass Lewis and Primal Scream drummer Darrin Mooney and is now going back to his roots for The Monsters of Rock Tour in May.  The band line-up for this tour will include Cass and Darrin.

Whitesnake with Doug and Montrose with his bandmate Keith St. John will play on the same stage at TX Alamodome in San Antonio on February 8.  Montrose seems to be the special guest for the Whitesnake / Scorpions / Dokken show on this day.
