What'd you get??
Hope you all had a nice Christmas......I
got the coolest gift...Its a language translator!!
Its basic, but it has 16 languages. You just
type in a phrase or word and it tells you.....I
have needed this for the longest time. Should
be cool on trips for sure....

Stockholm-Helsinki
Hey, any of you ever been on that boat from
Sweden to Finland? Its really great....I
went on it yesterday and it was my first
time. Usually we fly on stuff like that,
but I was told I shouldnt miss the chance
to take this trip. Its about 14 hours on
a cruise ship. They call it the Love Boat
cause its easy to meet people on......We
had a great time...maybe too great....cause
thats where I got a cold. I kept going outsside
to look at the ocean...it was so amazing
and dark mean! I hear sometimes there is
ice all around but I think thats later in
the season.
Anyway, we, me and some guys had Wrestle
Mania '05 on the ship...It was Scott(akaTurbo),
Lorenzo, Hippie, and Steve. It was about
1am and I was headed to my cabin when I heard
these guys coming up the stairs...So I hided
behind a wall and waited...Turbo saw me and
knew what I was gonna do..so he came at me
and it started there...The guy is like 6'5
and heavy so you really need to put all your
weight to get him down...Im surprised the
police never came cause we were making tons
of noise..but it was great fun.
Next morning, we met at the exit and several
people were complaining of bruises and aching
bones! Instead of calling it the Love Boat..I
will remember it as the No Love Boat!

In Denmark
Man, I just found out from Fritz that Marco
Mendoza was playing here last night on my
night off!!!! And I missed it!!! F&*%$#$$%%!!!!!
Would been cool to see him play. Hes such
an amazing musician. Oh well......
I got like one hour sleep on the bus from
Sweden and then stumbled in to my room. Slept
and woke up at like 5pm. Then went to eat
dinner at 7. I was up late just practicing
and finally got to sleep at like 3am...If
I knew Marco was in Copenhagen, I would been
there for sure.
Got a show tonight and then back to Sweden
tomorrow. Gotta go to sound check now but
i'll check in later if I can.

I havent been around much but you all know
I was traveling....It was great to see some
of you in the UK and Europe... Thanks so
much for coming and hanging with me....It
was so cool to see friends there!!!
I am still unpacking and getting settled
at home but I promise ill be back more often

Hey I just wanted to let anyone in the UK
that there is a great shop(cool guys). Well,
as most of you know, I couldnt bring my own
guitar rig to the Europe and UK Dio dates.
It was just too late to bring anything other
than guitars and some pedals. But This shope

Hurricane Katrina
I just want to send prayers and best wishes
for anyone who has friends or family down
in Miss, La, Al, or close to there. I am
really sorry that anyone has to go through
that crisis....And hope that they will be
able to rebuild thier lives there.
I was busy at home getting ready for the
trip.....the last couple days, but now I
see the devastation.
This is gonna make fuel prices rise more???

Just want to say thanks to anyone that was
a t the HOB shows.
It was so great to see familiar faces...It
made it much easier. LA is always really
stressful cause I had a bunch of friends
there but it went really smoothly...
the band was killer....and DC is on fire....I
think he has been eating a lot of wasabi
at his new fav sushi spot!

New Pick Up
So you guys know i mainly use Seymour Duncans
in my guitars, but I just recently got a
new pick up from John Suhr that is bad ass...I
think it is called the
ssh-5 or something...I will find out and
get back to you...But it is a really fat
sound. Check out his site.

Just wanted to say hi. Yup everything is
going well and we are having a great time.
We are still playing with the song list but
it is gonna be killer!
David sounds freakin great. He doesnt have
to prove anything to anybody, but he is really
on fire. And Uriah is fitting in really really
well. He is a great guy and player. If you
get to meet him you will see what I mean.
Tommy, Reb and Timmy..all great....the crew,
everyone is really up for this one..
Well, hope you all are doing well. Wish you
could be at rehearsals with us. Its a pretty
cool job we have thanks to you all.

Well, glad that this is kinda working. I
hadnt been on in a long time due to WS tour
related stuff....and then I try to come on
and POOF.....Everything was gone.

New Mark Cameron Amp Mod
I just got a new amp from Mark. Well it was
a tired old Marshall that I used to use to
hold the door open. Need tubes and some tlc
I guess.
But Finally gave it to Mark to experiment
with and he brought this amp all moded and
bad ass!!!
I asked him to try some new things...Kinda
like my other amps but with a bit more open
sound like the plexi he did last year. Somthing
new.
What I got back I am calling the "Ocean
Amp" Cause when you hit a chord it sounds
like a HUGE WAVE crashin on the beach!
Like Malcom Young and Gary Moores love child!!!!
This is the best amp I got I think.

B-Day
Well, I dont' know what to say to show how
much I appreciated everyones wishes... Just
thatnks so much...this was my best Birthday
ever thanks to you all!
Yesterday.....I stopped in at the studio
where X, Bjorn and Michael were working.....the
DVD looks great.
Also, I have my sister Jennifer in town with
a couple of my nieces and her boyfriend so
I was out most of the day. I saw the posts,
but I didn't have time to post. We went for
a all night sushi exstravaganza!!! Actually
on Friday we went to a different Sushi spot.
Today, i'm going to take them up the coast
for lunch.....
Thanks again ya'll....You made my day really
special.

I am quiting Smoking!!!
Well, I just want to tell you guys that I
am on my third day of reducing my smoking....
It is really really hard for me but I guess
I thought id let ya'll know.
My plan is to be smoke free by Feb 18th.
I have cut down to a third of my normal intake
and it feels crazy!! I guess I just wanted
to post it on here so it will be official.
I bought my last pack on Monday....
I don't want to want to quit but I have too..It
is just time. My Uncle died last year from
lung cancer so it would be really bad if
I just kept on.
To everyone that is still smoking, I will
always support you, but if you ever do quit,
let me know and I will try to help.

Johnny A
Well, just want to tell you all to go see
this guitarist Johnny A if you ever get the
chance... I saw him play last night in Tahoe
and it was so killer! He is kind of Jazz
Blues style and it was great to see him live.
DC and I went and we met him and talked for
a bit. Really good guy too.
Check out his version of Wind Cries Mary....you
will love it.
